For the past few years, I was working as the lead 3D artist and technical artist at Electric Monk Media for Strange Brew.
​I was responsible for character modeling, texturing, and rigging; lighting and vfx, shader development, cinematics, and UI. I was also responsible for a lot of Unity development - setting up events and interactions, creating prefabs, connecting a lot of the scripts that the programmer built, and implementing all Wwise audio events.
For the main character, Joe, I made 10 different costume variations that could be unlocked by collecting secrets in each level. I developed a custom shader for the character that would display damage and blood on the costume when taking damage, as well as displaying various effects when consuming specialty powerup coffees, and when Joe runs out of stamina.
